Terzo libro della saga di Howl. Devo dire che l'autrice sembra molto più a suo agio quando il personaggio principale del libro é di sesso femminile (come lo era per Il castello errante di Howl). Charmain, la protagonista di La casa per ogni dove, é ben tratteggiata, simpatica, divertente, e il modo di inserirla nel contesto di Howl l'ho trovato particolarmente elaborato e ben fatto. E l'idea della casa magica é davvero molto bella (voglio anche io dei coboldi tuttofare!).
Rispetto al secondo libro della saga, che ho trovato noioso, questo non sarà allo stesso livello del primo (soprattutto per quello che riguarda le tematiche di fondo), ma é comunque molto carino. Se si vuole, il secondo si potrebbe anche saltarlo e passare direttamente a questo...

Third book in the series of Howl. I must say that the author seems more at ease when the book's main character is female (as it was for Howl's Moving Castle). Charmain, the protagonist of The House of many ways, is well broken, nice, fun, and how to put it in the context of Howl I found particularly elaborate and well done. And the idea of the magical house is also very beautiful (I want the kobolds handyman!).
Compared with the second book in the series, that I found it boring, this is not of the same level as the first (especially for what concerns the basic themes), but is still very nice. If you want, you might as well skip the second and go directly to this ...

Questa miniserie inglese migliora ad ogni episodio! Anche nella seconda stagione le vicende di Sherlock Holmes in chiave moderna, sono ben inserite nel contesto: Moffat (sceneggiatore e a volte anche regista) riesce benissimo a trasformare le storie di Conan Doyle e renderle attualissime. Il finale di questa seconda stagione é davvero esplicativo: Jim Moriarty é davvero un cattivo dei nostri tempi. Sempre a livello eccezionale la recitazione, oltre a tutto il resto. Una serie tv assolutamente da recuperare, per chi se la fosse persa! Semplicemente geniale (e molto british).

This miniseries English improves with each episode! Even in the second season of the adventures of this modern Sherlock Holmes, the story is well within the context: Moffat (writer and sometimes director) can easily transform the stories of Conan Doyle and make them relevant today. The final of this season is very explanatory: Jim Moriarty is really the bad for our times. Also the acting is exceptional, in addition to everything else. A TV series that must see. Simply brilliant (and very British).

Alcune scene io proprio non me le ricordavo, ma ho letto questa parte di libri parecchi anni fa. Il ché non é male, almeno rimango un minimo sorpresa dalla storia! Sempre molto ben recitato e dettagliato, una grande serie tv.

Some scenes I just do not remember , but I read this part of the books several years ago. Which is not bad, at least a minimum I remain surprised by the story!Always very well acted and detailed, a great TV series.

Dopo tutto quello che é successo nelle scorse stagioni, mi chiedevo come potevano continuare allo stesso livello. Per ora ci stanno riuscendo pienamente! Il momento in cui Katy racconta la sua storia é bellissimo! Apprezzo anche molto il momento in cui fa la vita parallela nel bar.

After everything that has happened in past seasons, I wondered how they could continue at the same level. For now they are managing it entirely! The moment when Katy tells her story is beautiful! I also appreciate the moment she lives in the bars.

Nell'episodio 19 il titolo della serie era azzeccato! Anche se non come ci si aspetterebbe XD bellissima trovata, e non male anche la madre di Ellie. Questa serie si sta decisamente riprendendo.
Anche se l'episodio successivo era un po' più sottotono e mieloso.

Un episodio che mi ha favorevolmente colpito. Ad un certo punto ho pensato "ma dai, non é possibile, troppo scontato!" e invece sono riusciti a stupirmi. Una serie che si sta avviando verso la conclusione di stagione in maniera perfettamente degna.

An episode that impressed me. At one point I thought, "but come on, it's not possible, too easy!" and instead managed to amaze me. A series that is reaching the end of the season in a perfectly worthy way.

Episodio molto bello, la trama si sta facendo sempre più interessante, soprattutto per quello che riguarda il gran finale di stagione. Non avessi letto per sbaglio gli spoiler che girano in questi giorni in rete, starei meglio -.-

Sta cominciando ad annoiarmi un pochino, ma rimane sempre abbastanza carino, anche se odio la maggiorparte dei personaggi. Tranne Derek e Anjelica Huston.

A sapere che questo episodio (il 19) era così bello, non avrei aspettato 2 settimane per vederlo. Anche se l'ho trovato scontato nei colpi di scena, tranne quello iniziale, mi é piaciuta parecchio. E mi ha commosso. L'episodio numero 20 era noioso come tutta questa quarta stagione: immagino di non poter pretendere di più di così...

If I knew that this episode (the 19) was so beautiful, I would not have waited 2 weeks to see him. Although I found the plot twists obvious, except the initial one, I liked it a lot. It moved me. The episode number 20 was boring like all of this fourth season, I imagine that I could not expect more than that ...

[CINEMA] The Avengers by Joss Whedon

Non sono una fan sfegatata dei supereroi della Marvel, nel senso che ho guardato i film (tranne Capitan America, mea culpa), ma non ho mai letto i fumetti. Non avevo quindi grandi aspettative per The Avengers, ma l'ho trovato molto ben fatto, divertente, e esaltante. Quindi perfetto per un film d'azione! E poi, Tony Stark é sempre eccezionale XD
Punti positivi: effetti speciali, humour, personaggi: Robert Downey Junior su tutti, ma anche la scelta di Mark Ruffalo non mi é dispiaciuta. E ovviamente Loki.
Punti negativi: uhm... davvero, non é che non ce ne siano, volendo. È che davvero é un film che non mi ha deluso per niente. Lo riguarderei anche subito. Ecco, forse Jeremy Renner potrebbe essere un pochetto più espressivo, ma rispetto a Capitan America sembrava un attore del metodo Stanislavskij.
In generale un bel film d'azione sui supereroi, assolutamente da vedere per chi ha amato per lo meno Iron Man (se non gli altri). Joss Whedon promosso a pieni voti.

I'm not a big fan of Marvel's superheroes, in the sense that I've watched the movies (except Captain America, mea culpa), but I've never read the comics. I had noz so high expectations for The Avengers, but I found it very well done, fun, and exciting. So perfect for an action movie! And then, Tony Stark is always great XD
Positive points: special effects, humor, characters: Robert Downey Junior on all, but the choice of Mark Ruffalo is all right for me. And of course Loki.
Negative points: uhm ... really is not that there are not, if you want. Is that really is a film that I was not disappointed at all. Here, Jeremy Renner could perhaps be a little bit more expressive, but compared to Captain America looked like a player on the Stanislavsky method.
In general, a good action movie superhero, a must see for those who loved IronMan at least (if not the others). Joss Whedon: very well done.

Albert Nobbs é un cameriere di un hotel di una Dublino di fine Ottocento. Ma é anche una donna che ha deciso di annullare la sua sessualità dopo una violenza subìta da adolescente. Vive la sua vita in un equilibrio emotivo precario, finché non incontra una persona che, come lei, deve nascondersi, ma che é riuscita a superare la propria solitudine. E da qui nasce la speranza. E tutte le sfortune possibili.
È un film che tratta del bisogno di apparire in un determinato modo (e questo vale per tutti i personaggi). Molto lento, interpretato in maniera eccellente da Glenn Close (che aveva recitato anche nella pièce da cui é stato tratto il film). Molto brava anche Mia Wasikowska, anche se la sua storia rende il tutto un po' troppo tragico.
Il regista  Rodrigo Garcia, figlio dello scrittore Gabriel Garcia Marquez (é stato regista anche di parecchie serie HBO, tra cui Six feet under, Carnivale e In treatment), rimane forse un po' troppo legato alla sceneggiatura teatrale, e spesso il film risulta statico.
Punti positivi: recitazione, il messaggio che fuoriesce dal film, l'ambientazione, la scenografia
Punti negativi: eccessiva teatralità, lentezza, la sfortuna generale (lo dico con ironia, ma effettivamente é veramente tragico al massimo).
In generale é un bel film, magari non da guardare con gli amici per una serata spensierata...

The director Rodrigo Garcia, son of writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez (and was also a director of several HBO series, including Six Feet Under, Carnivale and In Treatment), is perhaps a bit too tied to the stage play, and often the film is static .
Positive points: acting, the message coming out of the film, the setting
Positive points: excessive theatricality, slow, misfortune generally (I say it with irony, but is actually really tragic at most).
In general it is a good movie, maybe not to watch with friends for an evening of carefree ...
