Game of thrones - 2x09: Blackwater

Un episodio stupendo! La battaglia delle acque nere é stata resa veramente bene, e il Mastino aveva dei dialoghi che ho trovato geniali. E Tyrion come al solito é un grande. Molto bello anche il momento in cui Cersei incontra Shae (suspence!). Sicuramente l'episodio migliore della stagione.
Punti positivi: la battaglia, la caratterizzazione dei personaggi, la fotografia, i dialoghi
Punti negativi: le scene con Cersei dopo un po' annoiavano, ma ad ogni modo erano un ottimo contraltare alla battaglia.

A wonderful episode! The Battle of the Blackwater has been made ​​really well, and the Hound have the dialogues that I found ingenious. And Tyrion is great as usual.Very nice too when Cersei meets Shae (suspence!). Definitely the best episode of the season.
Positive points: the battle, the character design, photography, the dialogue
Negative points: the scenes with Cersei after a while they're boring, but in all cases they were a great counterpoint to the battle.

Good Points: I found three very brilliant scenes, the worst chase in the history, the funeral in general, and when Morning asks if at the funeral of Matt Leblanc there will be all Friends

Sono contenta che abbiano lasciato più spazio al personaggio del capo, mi piace parecchio. Sempre una serie molto carina, anche se niente di trascendentale. Comunque mi fa sempre ridere.

I'm glad that they have left more space to the character of the head, I really like him. Always a very nice series, but nothing earth-shattering. However, it always makes me laugh.

Veep - 1x05: Nicknames

Episodio molto bello e con delle battute geniali. Dan e Jonah insieme sono veramente divertenti. All'inizio quando ho cominciato a guardare questa serie ero dubbiosa, non sapevo se effettivamente mi piaceva, ma ora secondo me é decollata.

Episode very nice and with clever jokes. Dan and Jonah together are really fun. At first when I started watching this series I was dubious, I did not know if I actually liked it, but now I think it is really cool.

[CINEMA] Cosmopolis by David Cronenberg

Cosmopolis by David Cronenberg

Il film, sceneggiato dallo stesso Cronenberg ma tratto da un libro di Don DeLillo, narra la giornata di Eric, giovane boss dell'economia newyorkese, e dei suoi problemi col mondo esterno (da lui bellamente ignorato per buona parte del film).
Io non ho letto il libro (credo che non lo farò) ma ho trovato questo film molto ambizioso, verboso, freddo e straniante. Era il contraltare di A dangerous method, con una critica pesante al capitalismo. Anche se in realtà, la critica é più verso il personaggio di Eric, e quello che rappresenta.
Punti positivi: sicuramente la filosofia di fondo, Paul Giamatti (non so se capisse quello che stava dicendo, io ho faticato a seguirlo, ma lui recita sempre bene), la fotografia e l'estrema cura dei dettagli scenografici.
Punti negativi: eccessivamente intellettuale e quindi anche esageratamente verboso, l'ho trovato ambizioso e anche snob (nel senso che non é per lo spettatore medio, e non vuole esserlo. Sembra quasi dire: se non mi capite vuol dire che non ne siete all'altezza), Robert Pattinson non mi é piaciuto. I dialoghi sono veramente insopportabili a volte.
In generale l'ho trovato noioso. Ho capito in generale il messaggio, ma era anche parecchio ridondante. Credo che se vi é piaciuto A dangerous method o se siete patiti di economia potreste apprezzarlo, altrimenti vorreste tanto dire a Cronenberg: torna a fare film come eXistenZ, o anche A history of violence.

ENGLISH
The film, scripted by the same Cronenberg but adapted from a book by Don DeLillo, tells the day of Eric, a young New York-based boss of the economy, and his problems with the outside world (which he blithely ignored for most of the film).
I have not read the book (I think I will not) but I found this film very ambitious, long-winded, cold and alienating. It was the counterpart of A dangerous method, with a heavy critique of capitalism. Although in reality, is more critical to the character of Eric, and what he represents.
Positive points: surely the basic philosophy, Paul Giamatti (I do not know if he understood what he was saying, I struggled to follow him, but he always plays well), photography and extraordinary attention to detail scenery.
Negative points: overly intellectual and therefore overly wordy, I found it ambitious and even snobbish (meaning that it is not for the average viewer, and does not want to be. It almost seems to say: If you doesn't understand what it means then you are not at height), I didn't liked Robert Pattinson.  The dialogues are really unbearable at times. 
In general I found it boring. I understood the message in general, but it was also quite redundant. I think if you liked A dangerous method, or if you are fans of economy, you might appreciate it, otherwise you would hope that Cronenberg returns to make films like eXistenZ, or A History of Violence.

[SERIE TV] Warehouse 13, Modern Family (finale di stagione), Revenge (finale di stagione)

Warehouse 13 - Stagione 3

ITALIANO
Ho trovato che questa terza stagione di Warehouse fosse molto bella e lineare, con i giusti colpi di scena. In generale questa serie mi piace molto, non é noiosa, ha dei bei personaggi, e delle belle storie. Il finale lascia davvero in sospeso parecchie cose!

ENGLISH
I found that this third season of Warehouse very nice and linear, with the right twists.In general I really like this series, it is not boring, has some good characters and good stories. The ending leaves a lot of things really outstanding!

Modern Family - 3x24: Baby on board (finale di stagione)

Un episodio molto bello con un piccolo colpo di scena. Stupendo secondo me il pezzo da telenovela sudamericana.
In generale questa terza stagione era all'altezza delle precedenti: rimane una delle migliori comedy in circolazione!

A very nice episode with a little twist. Very nice the part of South American soap opera.
In general this third season was good as the previous and it remains one of the best comedy around!

Revenge - 1x22: Reckoning (finale di stagione)

ITALIANO
Un episodio finale che ho trovato scontato. Anzi di più. Come sempre l'inutile Charlotte e l'inutile Declan danno il loro meglio (scene da dimenticare), Amanda ricompare col pancione (ma perché?? E dov'é il giapponese col dono dell'ubiquità), c'é un altro incidente aereo (ma dai?) e Daniel fa l'idiota (come sempre). Però, alla fine, Emily e Nolan mi sono piaciuti. Il cliffanger finale era scontato pure quello (si capiva da qualche episodio che volevano tirare fuori la madre), ma almeno sembra che ci sia molta carne al fuoco per la prossima stagione.

ENGLISH
A final episode that I found discounted. More than that. As always the pointless Charlotte and the needless Declan give their best (scenes to forget), Amanda reappears with belly (but why?And where is the Japanese with the gift of ubiquity), there is another plane crash (why?) and Daniel is an idiot (as usual). But in the end, I liked Emily and Nolan. The final cliffanger was assumed that well (you could tell from a few episodes that they wanted to pull out of the mother), but at least it seems that there is a lot of irons in the fire for next season.

Passa da Pier Paolo Pasolini, un accenno a Maria Callas, alla sorella Yuki e al padre Fosco, e al suo ultimo compagno Giuseppe. Da questo, si staglia una storia appassionante, scritta in maniera molto lucida facendo apparire "normale" anche quello che in realtà non lo é (un esempio su tutti: la vita in un campo di prigionia giapponese).
Un libro che, nonostante l'argomento e le digressioni filosofiche, si legge abbastanza velocemente, e lascia un'idea di serenità.

In this autobiographical book, Dacia Maraini tells her dead, and through them also part of his life. Passes by Pier Paolo Pasolini, a reference to Maria Callas, Yuki's sister and father Fosco, and her ultimate companion Joseph. From this, it stands a fascinating story, written in a very lucid way, making it appear "normal" even that which actually is not (an example of all: life in a Japanese prison camp).
A book that, despite the topic, and the philosophical digressions, I read fast enough, and leaves an idea of serenity.

Da una sceneggiatura scritta da Etan Cohen (ma rimaneggiata più e più volte), ecco arrivare nelle sale il terzo Men in black. Dopo un primo episodio bello nel suo genere, e un secondo film abbastanza deludente, questo terzo capitolo della saga é carino. Certo, sicuramente é scontato e fin troppo sentimentale, a volte i dialoghi ristagnano, ma certe battute e la caccia a "chi sarà l'alieno?" con scene mitiche come quella con Andy Warhol e il racconto della storia di Mick Jagger, rendono il film godibile.
Punti positivi: le battute sugli alieni, l'idea di un salto temporale (che svecchia un po' la sceneggiatura e fa in modo di dare un tocco di novità al tutto), Emma Thompson
Punti negativi: il sentimentalismo, il cattivo (che ho reputato parecchio inutile), gli interrogativi che mi sono rimasti (molte cose sono spiegate con un: "deve essere così")
In generale un film carino, anche se non raggiunge minimamente il divertimento del primo film.

From a screenplay written by Etan Cohen (but rewritten again and again), here come the third Men in Black. After a nice first episode of its kind, and a second film quite disappointing, this third film of the saga is cute. Of course, it is surely obvious and far too sentimental and at times the dialogue stalled, but a few jokes and the hunting like "who is the alien?" with scenes legendary with VIP such as Andy Warhol and the telling of the story of Mick Jagger, make the film enjoyable.
Positive points: the jokes about aliens, the idea of a leap in time, Emma Thompson
Negative points: the sentimentality, the bad guy (which I considered quite useless), the questions that I have about so many things (many things are explained with a "must be so")
In general, a nice film, even if it does not reach minimally the fun of the first film.
