Su quest'ultimo film di Woody Allen mi sono dovuta ricredere: pensavo davvero peggio! Avevo sentito delle recensioni del tutto negative (ma dato che Midnight in Paris non mi aveva entusiasmato, forse avrei dovuto capire che su Allen le mie opinioni sono discordanti), e mi sono ritrovata a vedere un tipico film medio del regista, con le sue solite problematiche, ma anche abbastanza divertente e a tratti con delle idee particolari. Lo ammetto, a me non da fastidio il fatto che abbia ritratto una Roma che non esiste, con delle macchiette di protagonisti italiani come non se ne vedevano da una quarantina d'anni, perché non reputo che Allen faccia dei film documento (ma proprio per nulla). Lui rispecchia quello che la maggior parte delle persone che non la conosce pensa che sia l'Italia, in maniera romantica e, si, superficiale (la coppia di Pordenone, l'attore che rimorchia, l'italiano medio estremamente naïve).
Aspetti positivi: la sceneggiatura, certe idee di fondo (il personaggio di Baldwin, l'idea della doccia), la colonna sonora, il cast

In generale il film mi é piaciuto, é gradevole (certe scenette più di altre) e divertente. Non un capolavoro, ma neanche un brutto film. Chiaramente per apprezzarlo bisogna amare almeno un minimo Woody Allen, altrimenti può risultare irritante (ma questo vale per tutti i suoi film).

About this last Woody Allen movie I had to think again: I thought very worst! I had heard all the negative reviews (but since I didn't like Midnight in Paris, maybe I should have known of my opinions are conflicting when I talk about Allen), and I found myself seeing typical average film director, with his usual issues, but also quite funny and at times with some particular ideas. I admit, I did not bother the fact that Rome has a picture that does not exist, with specks of Italian players as we have not seen for forty years, why I do not believe that Allen makes documentary. Hereflects what most people know about Italy, in a romantic and, yes, in the surface (the couple of Pordenone, the actor who tows, the average Italian extremely naïve).
Positive: the script, certain basic ideas (Baldwin's character, the idea of a shower),the soundtrack, the cast
Negative: stereotypes
In general I liked the movie, is pleasant (some scenes than others) and fun. Not a masterpiece, but not even a bad movie. Clearly, to appreciate it we must love at least a minimum Woody Allen, otherwise it can be irritating (but this applies to all his films).
