Ed ecco in arrivo nelle nostre sale la nuova trilogia hollywoodiana tratta da un libro a target adolescenziale di successo. Io l'ho letto, la storia mi intrigava, ma alla fine il tutto mi é sembrato una scopiazzatura di Battle Royal più romantico e in un universo in stile futuristico. Comunque un libro gradevole (si legge in fretta).
Il film non mi é dispiaciuto. Certo, ha sicuramente i suoi lati negativi, ma, come il libro, mi ha tenuto in sospeso per tutte le 2 ore e 20. E mi ci sono appassionata.
Punti positivi: la suspence, gli attori (li ho trovati tutti azzeccati, e ho scoperto che Thor ha un fratello! Cioé...l'attore che fa Gale é il fratello di Chris Hemsworth), la colonna sonora, le scenografie e i costumi.
Punti negativi: molto spesso la storia non viene approfondita (ho passato la metà del film a raccontare i retroscena dell'ambientazione ad un mio amico), anche per quello che riguarda la caratterizzazione di parecchi personaggi (gli altri tributi, Haymitch)... In alcuni momenti il ritmo calava fin troppo, soprattutto nella parte iniziale.
In generale é un film che consiglierei, non un capolavoro, ma sicuramente apprezzabile. Ora vado a leggermi il secondo libro, non posso certo aspettare 1-2 anni per sapere come continua la storia...

And here is coming the new Hollywood trilogy. I've read the book, the story intrigued me, but in the end all I felt like a copy of Battle Royal, more romantic in a futuristic universe. However, a nice book (read quickly).
The film is not me sorry. Yes, definitely has its downsides, but as the book kept me on hold for all 2 hours and 20. And I got passionate.
Positive points: the suspense, the actors (I found them all well chosen, and I discovered that Thor has a brother! ... That is to say the actor who is Gale's brother Chris Hemsworth), the soundtrack, the sets and costumes .
Bad points: very often the story is not deep (I spent half the film to tell the background of the setting to a friend of mine), even for what concerns the characterization of several characters (the other tributes, Haymitch) ... At certain times the rate fell too, especially in the beginning.
In general it is a movie I would suggest, not a masterpiece, but certainly welcome.Now I'm going to read the second book, I can not wait 1-2 years to know how the story continues ...
