Questo libro mi aveva sempre incuriosita. In generale, letto oggigiorno, non dice nulla di nuovo. Ma immagino che sia stato parecchio scandaloso negli anni 60, per gli argomenti trattati e per le scene di sesso.
La storia della cittadina Peyton Place, trattata da molteplici punti di vista, é molto intrigante e appassionante. Tutti i personaggi sono ben caratterizzati (e sono tanti!). Un libro che vale la pena di leggere.

I had always been curious about this book. In general, read today, do not say anything new. But I imagine it was quite a scandal in the 60's, for the topics covered and the sex scenes.
The history of the town Peyton Place, treated with multiple points of view, is very intriguing and exciting. All the characters are well characterized (and there are many!). A book worth reading.
