Estate: il periodo in cui si recuperano le serie televisive che, a causa del poco tempo durante la settimana e della vita sociale che bisognerebbe fare almeno un po', non sono riuscita a guardare. Breaking Bad era la prima della lista. Avevo già visto il pilota anni fa, e adoro Bryan Cranston, quindi era una scelta "obbligata". La serie potrebbe sembrare molto simile a Weeds, all'inizio, ma in realtà la direzione che prende non é quella che ci si aspetta. La storia parla di Walter, professore di chimica al liceo, padre di famiglia di un ragazzo adolescente con un leggero ritardo e con una moglie (stressante a dir poco) in attesa del secondo figlio, che scopre di avere un tumore ai polmoni incurabile. Decide così di avviare un'attività particolare con un suo ex studente: cucinare metanfetamina.
La serie é cinica, realistica, ben caratterizzata: geniale in molti aspetti (oltre a quelli già elencati, anche la regia é molto buona). Su tutti, spicca la recitazione di Bryan Cranston, che é semplicemente eccezionale.

P.S. La prima serie, purtroppo, risente (ma solo come numero di episodi) della crisi degli sceneggiatori.

The series is cynical, realistic, well-characterized: brilliant in many aspects (in addition to those already listed, the director is also very good). Over all, the outstanding acting of Bryan Cranston, who is just brilliant.

P. S. The first series, unfortunately, suffers (but only as the number of episodes) of the crisis of the writers.

[SERIE TV] Girls (Finale di stagione), True Love, Drop Dead Diva, Pretty Little Liars

Girls - 1x10: She did (Finale di stagione)

Questa serie mi ha lasciata perplessa: ho odiato profondamente quasi tutti i personaggi (tranne rari casi) e avrei passato il tempo a prendere a sberle ognuna delle protagoniste. Il finale, poi, mi ha lasciata basita.
È geniale? Non saprei: sicuramente é particolare, qualcosa che non avevo mai visto. È difficile superare lo scoglio dei primi 7 episodi (e non é poco). Non mi sentirei di consigliarla, perché l'ho trovata "difficile", ma continuerò comunque a guardarla (non é sicuramente un prodotto stupido).

Questa serie é davvero tristissima!! Ma anche parecchio realistica. Insomma, é consigliata perché é molto bella, ma può veramente cambiarvi l'umore. Paul era un episodio carino.
Holly é il primo episodio al femminile, con Billie Piper (Doctor Who) come protagonista. Un po' meno triste dei precedenti, mi é piaciuto molto: nonostante l'argomento, era veramente fine.

Comincio davvero a non sopportare più Stacy (sarà perché sta sempre vicino alla Kardashian?). Inoltre la storia delle torte mi ricorda troppo Cougar Town (qui però é meno originale e più prevedibile).
Per il resto, le storie non erano male. Episodio sicuramente meno noioso dei precedenti.

Io adoro i musical. E anche il rock. Non potevo quindi perdermi la visione di Rock of ages! Il musical originale non l'ho mai visto (ma mi piacerebbe), quindi non posso fare paragoni. La storia é incentrata sui due ragazzi protagonisti (lui é abbastanza insulso, lei bravina) in cerca di successo ad Hollywood. Il tutto, costellato da altri personaggi più o meno azzeccati (i migliori rimangono Tom Cruise e Alec Baldwin) con diverse storie (un locale rock da salvare, una rockstar in crisi, ecc). La storia in sé é prevedibile, ma non é quasi mai noiosa.
Punti positivi: le musiche, la maggiorparte dei personaggi (l'unico che ho trovato insopportabile é Diego Boneta), la scenografia
Punti negativi: la prevedibilità della storia
In generale, é un film che consiglio: é divertente, carino, e musicalmente molto bello. Non é "Chicago", per intenderci, ma come superficialità delle storie é a metà strada tra "Grease" e "Dirty Dancing" (la citazione di quest'ultimo era stupenda!).

I love musicals. And rock'n roll. So I could not miss watching Rock of Ages! I've never seen the original musical  (but I'd like), so I can not make comparisons. The story is centered on two young characters (he is pretty silly, she's good) in search of success in Hollywood. All this with other characters (the best are Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin) with different histories (to save a rock club, a rock star in crisis, etc.). The story itself is predictable, but it is almost never boring.
Positive points: the music, most of the characters (the only one I found unbearable is Diego Boneta), the set
Negative points: the predictability of the story
In general, it is a movie that I recommend: It's funny, cute, and musically very nice. It is not "Chicago", so to speak, but as superficial stories is midway between "Grease" and "Dirty Dancing".

Questo film é l'emblema di quella che io chiamo "pornotristezza", cioé il desiderio viscerale di mettere in un film qualunque personaggio triste possa venire in mente al regista o allo sceneggiatore. Tratto da un romanzo di Jonathan Safran Foer (Ogni cosa é illuminata) che non ho letto (ma mi dicono essere molto più leggero e bello rispetto al film): Oscar, bambino con la sindrome di Asperger, é figlio di Tom Hanks e Sandra Bullock. Il primo muore durante l'11 settembre. Oscar, dopo aver trovato una chiave nascosta nell'armadio del padre, decide di andare a cercare la serratura. A volte lo accompagna anche lo strano coinquilino della nonna (Max von Sydow) che non parla a causa dei traumi subiti durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Questo tanto per tornare alla pornotristezza: ci mancava il cane ammalato di peste e avevo visto tutto
Punti positivi: la regia, la colonna sonora, la fotografia, la recitazione del piccolo protagonista (Tomas Horn).
Punti negativi: il doppiaggio italiano sarebbe da evitare (il bambino non rende), il voler per forza dare una spiegazione a qualunque cosa rende il film meno incisivo.
In generale non é un brutto film, ma risulta un po' pesante soprattutto nella parte finale. Un film carino da vedere in televisione, magari durante una serata in cui non si é già un po' depressi (altrimenti é deleterio).

True Blood - 5x02: Authority always wins

Avessi potuto, avrei conficcato io il paletto di Lafayette! Pam nel passato? Perché in questa serie bisogna proprio dimostrare che tutti hanno un cuore? Mi sento come in un film della Disney...
Quando Eric chiede alla tizia "Ma tu chi sei?" e lei non risponde ho pensato: "Non rispondo perché sono uno dei 13 nuovi personaggi, anche se ti dico il mio nome il pubblico tra 3 secondi se l'é già scordato).
Terry e Charlene sono insopportabili e inutili, per fortuna Sam si é visto poco. Eric e Bill amicici sono assolutamente da eliminare.
La migliore della puntata era la mamma di Hoyt!
Insomma: True Blood continua a deludere, forse sarebbe meglio finire con questa stagione. Poi magari migliora (sono sempre ottimista).

Nuova miniserie inglese con David Tennant (l'ho guardata solo per quello, il titolo non prometteva bene). Il primo episodio é malinconico, e veramente triste. Ma davvero triste. Spero che i prossimi siano meno strappalacrime! Per lo meno, dura solo 30 minuti, e come al solito (per la BBC) é recitato benissimo e molto curato.

New British miniseries starring David Tennant (I just looked for that, the title did not promise well). The first episode is malinconic and very sad. But really sad. I hope that the next are less heartbreaking! At least, it only lasts 30 minutes, and as usual (for BBC) is very well acted and well cared for.

Non me l'aspettavo. No, in realtà pensavo che sarebbe potuto succedere, ma mi é dispiaciuto comunque. Bunheads ha davvero un gran potenziale, anche questo secondo episodio, nonostante alcuni momenti naïve (per un balletto del genere credo ci vogliano più di tre ore di prove) era veramente molto bello.
Non ho mai visto un cane più strano!!
Una serie da guardare, molto molto carina.

I dialoghi sono brillanti, e i personaggi interessanti. Il primo episodio mi é piaciuto parecchio! Credo abbia molto potenziale.

2x13: Il finale in un giallo é molto importante. All'inizio dell'episodio, mi é sembrato tutto molto deludente. Ma poi, il colpo di scena mi ha spiazzata (agghiacciante il "Non lo sapevo", mi risuonerà nella testa per un bel pezzo). Il filmatino di Rosie l'ho trovato superfluo, ma il finale dell'episodio mi é piaciuto moltissimo. Un bel finale di serie (o di stagione?).

Dirk Gently é una miniserie inglese (3 episodi più il pilot) tratta da una serie di libri del mitico Douglas Adams. Parla di un investigatore un po' particolare che utilizza il metodo olistico (in cui tutto é connesso) per risolvere i suoi casi.
Il pilot all'inizio non mi ha entusiasmata, per quanto mi piaccia moltissimo Stephen Mangan (già visto anche in Episodes), ma il finale mi ha fatto ricredere. In generale, mi é piaciuto parecchio il secondo episodio, mentre gli altri mi hanno lasciato la stessa impressione del pilot: a tratti noioso, a tratti meno, ma in generale non mi hanno entusiasmato.
P.S. La sigla iniziale é davvero bella:

Dirk Gently is a British mini-series (3 episodes plus the pilot) based of a series of books by the legendary Douglas Adams. It's about a detective a bit special that used the holistic method (in which everything is connected) to solve his cases.
The pilot at the beginning was not exciting, but I like it very much Stephen Mangan (already seen in Episodes), and the ending was very good. In general, I liked a lot the second episode, while others have left me the same impression of the pilot: sometimes boring, sometimes less, but in general I was not impressed.

I film di Sacha Baron Cohen mi sono sempre piaciuti: li ho trovati irriverenti, eccessivi e decisamente divertenti (a volte pure disgustosi). The Dictator un po' mi ha spiazzata, non é un classico film "alla Cohen", ma più una commedia satirica. Con questo non vuol dire che non mi sia piaciuto, anzi, credo che sia per un pubblico più ampio rispetto ai film precedenti (durante Brüno ho visto parecchie persone uscire dalla sala).
Punti positivi: Sacha Baron Cohen, i coprotagonisti in toto, l'idea della storia, alcuni dialoghi (su tutti, il monologo finale del dittatore: geniale!!)
Punti negativi: il fatto che la comicità di Cohen sia in qualche modo "bloccata" dalla sceneggiatura (con pochissima improvvisazione) probabilmente non piacerà ai fan dell'attore. D'altronde, la troppa popolarità del personaggio non permetteva più di fare dei film come Borat.
In generale l'ho trovato carino, a tratti geniale (il monologo, la scena dell'elicottero), a tratti meno innovativo.

Il nuovo film di Ursula Meier, dopo Home (molto carino), é stato molto apprezzato al Festival di Berlino: é stato premiato con l'orso d'argento. La storia parla di questa famiglia particolare, composta da fratello e sorella, ai limiti della povertà, con lo sfondo inusuale di una stazione sciistica del canton Vallese, in Svizzera. Lui cerca di sopravvivere rubando, lei é una nullafacente e non molto equilibrata. Ad un certo punto, la storia prende tutta un'altra piega, e diventa ancora più comprensibile il comportamento del bambino.
Punti positivi: la recitazione dei due protagonisti, la storia, la fotografia
Punti negativi: alcuni particolari erano poco credibili (il cuoco inglese su tutti)
In generale, é un film drammatico che scorre piacevolmente, facendo vedere una storia molto personale (che non può essere generalizzata) con parecchio realismo.

Il mito di Marilyn Monroe viene qui riprodotto in questo film tratto da una storia vera. La storia di Marilyn che passa qualche settimana a Londra per girare il film di (e con) Laurence Olivier "Il principe e la ballerina", può essere interessante, ma a mio parere il tentativo risulta un po' sforzato nell'interpretazione (comunque eccellente) di Michelle Williams: lei vuole essere Marilyn, ma in maniera a volte un po' eccessiva.
Punti positivi: tecnicamente ineccepibile (scenografia, fotografia, costumi), Kenneth Branagh é un perfetto Laurence Olivier (così come Judy Dench rappresenta in maniera sempre perfetta una comprensiva Sybil Thorndike), Michelle Williams se la cava egregiamente come Marilyn
Punti negativi: il personaggio principale del giovane romantico e leggermente arrivista non é male (e poi come attore Eddie Redmayne mi era già piaciuto ne I pilastri della terra) ma nella seconda parte del film, quando si calca maggiormente sui problemi di Marilyn e su di lui, a volte il film risulta un po' pesante.
In generale My week with Marilyn é carino, piacevole da guardare soprattutto nelle scene di "cinema nel cinema".

My week with Marilyn in general is pretty  and nice to watch especially in the scenes "movie into the movie".

Una nuova web serie per amanti dei videgiochi: é parecchio carina! E non low-budget, il che in questo caso non é male. I personaggi, poi, mi piacciono parecchio.

Per prima cosa, invece di sorbirmi la quarta stagione di True Blood,avrei dovuto semplicemente guardare il riassunto all'inizio di questa puntata: quante ore risparmiate! Lo ammetto, la quarta stagione era abbastanza brutta (sigla a parte).
Considerazioni su questo episodio: Jason non si smentisce (é sempre un idiota, ma ho adorato la scena col reverendo), i miei preferiti rimangono Pam e Lafayette (spaccano!). Sookie é noiosa (anche da bambina), e speravo che in questa stagione Tara non ci fosse. Bill e Eric(con per ora inutile e piatta sorella) per ora non hanno fatto niente di esaltante.
In generale, questo primo episodio non mi é dispiaciuto, vedremo i prossimi.

Avevo il timore di dover aspettare fino all'uscita italiana, il 5 dicembre 2012, per poter vedere l'ultimo film di uno dei miei registi preferiti: Wes Anderson (I Tenenbaum, Fantastic Mr. Fox). E invece, la fortuna di potermi spostare oltr'Alpe, mi ha permesso di vedere Moonrise Kingdom in lingua originale.
E per fortuna! Credo che sia uno dei film più belli che io abbia mai visto. Ovviamente, bisogna apprezzare la poetica di Anderson. I protagonisti della storia sono due ragazzini (due rivelazioni, non avevano mai recitato prima) che fuggono per amore, con lo sfondo della famiglia e di coloro che ci girano intorno: non voglio spoilerare, e inoltre é sempre difficile riassumere un film come questo, ho il timore di sminuirlo.
Punti positivi: la storia, i personaggi, la scenografia, la fotografia, la musica: tutto eccezionale.
Punti negativi: io non ne ho trovati
In generale, é un CAPOLAVORO, deve essere visto. La scena con la McDormand e Bill Murray nel letto, é qualcosa che mi ha toccato profondamente. Edward Norton e Bruce Willis sono spettacolari. Insomma, un film così é raro: non vedo l'ora di poterlo rivedere.

I had the fear of having to wait until the exit in italian, in December 5 2012, in order to see the latest film from one of my favorite directors: Wes Anderson (The Royal Tenenbaums, Fantastic Mr. Fox). But, the good fortune to be able to move beyond the Alps, allowed me to see Moonrise Kingdom in original language. Thank goodness! I think it's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Obviously, you have to appreciate the poetry of Anderson. The protagonists of the story are two young boys (two revelations, had never acted before) who flee, with the background of the family and those who revolve around: I do not want spoiler it, and also is always difficult to summarize a film like this, I fear to diminish.
Positive points: the story, characters, set design, photography, music: exceptional.
Negative points: none
In general, it is a MASTERPIECE, must be seen. The scene with Bill Murray and Frances McDormand in bed, is something that touched me deeply. Edward Norton and Bruce Willis are spectacular. In short, a film like this is rare: I can not wait to see him back.

Dopo Ortone e il mondo dei Chi, un altro libro di Dr. Seuss viene trasformato in un lungometraggio animato. I temi toccati, sono molto ambientalisti (inquinamento, disboscamento), per non sottovalutare quelli più generali della presa di coscienza delle proprie azioni e del coraggio che ne dovrebbe scaturire.
Lorax, rispetto ad Ortone, ma anche a Cattivissimo me, é un film che si rivolge ad un target molto più infantile, e si divide in due parti: da un lato il mondo umano, e dall'altro quello, molto più bello e divertente, "animale" (i pesci soprattutto, ma anche Lorax).
Punti positivi: il doppiaggio di Danny DeVito, la coloratissima valle di Truffula (in generale, sia la caratterizzazione, sia i personaggi che la abitano), la dolcezza generale della storia
Punti negativi: le canzoni (sono diventata insofferente), il doppiaggio di Marco Mengoni, il cattivo (risulta veramente poco incisivo), la parte con i personaggi umani é un po' noiosa (nonna a parte)
In generale, é un film carino: niente di eccezionale, e sicuramente un po' troppo solo per bambini, ma vale la pena di vederlo solo per le scene nella valle, e quelle con Lorax in generale (peccato che si veda poco!).

Mi piace Cameron Crowe (il regista), anche se effettivamente soltanto Almost Famous era un capolavoro, ma anche Elizabethtown non era male. Non parlo di Vanilla Sky, perché non vorrei risultare troppo cattiva.
Il film é al di sotto delle aspettative che avevo: si tratta di una commedia tipica e prevedibile, con protagonista un vedovo (un sempre bravo Matt Damon) che decide di ricominciare una nuovo vita con i suoi (odiosi) figli comprando uno zoo. Avete presente i cliché da commedia americana? I bambini che si comportano da adulti consigliando i genitori, l'uomo solo che però ricomincia a vivere grazie ad una nuova sfida, l'adolescente in crisi che (novità incredibile!) si mette a disegnare il suo tormento interiore? Il cattivo che però é in fondo é buono, perché il mondo é bello? Qui ci sono tutti! E anche di più: aggiunto a tutto questo, ci sono anche gli animali. E gli animali sono sempre carini!
Punti positivi: Angus McFadyen (che adoro dai tempi di Braveheart), la musica (in questo Cameron Crowe rimane sempre molto bravo), la scena dell'orso (che mi ha ricordato molto lontanamente la regia di Almost Famous)
Punti negativi: la storia, la prevedibilità della sceneggiatura, i bambini (la figlia soprattutto, era veramente insopportabile: quando mai una bambina parla in quel modo?)
In generale, é un film che non consiglio: non é proprio niente di speciale. E dura almeno 50 minuti di troppo!

Sono andata al cinema a vedere questo film consapevole di poter spegnere il cervello e speranzosa di potermi divertire con qualcosa di assolutamente triviale (d'altronde da un film pubblicizzato con uno slogan: "È come vedere American Pie da strafatti", non é che potessi pretendere chissà che). Ed effettivamente il film non ha tradito le mie aspettative, facendomi rimanere anche parecchio sorpresa. Intendiamoci, non é un capolavoro, ma l'idea é geniale e ben sviluppata, rendendo la storia sempre più allucinante e fuori di testa.
Punti positivi: la storia, i protagonisti, l'idea del mockumentary, la generazione rappresentata (senza critiche, ma comunque in maniera parecchio realistica)
Punti negativi: la bellezza dei personaggi femminile (era fuori posto e poco credibile)
In generale, é un film che mi sento di consigliare: é divertente e non stupido. Come peggiorano durante la serata le espressioni dei protagonisti é veramente indicativo di quanto non sia superficiale la pellicola (é un documentario, anche se finto, con tutto quello che comporta). Inoltre, tutta la scena finale, fa veramente capire che cosa sia veramente importante per un certo tipo di ragazzi: la popolarità.
È anche un film irriverente, che porta all'eccesso quel tipo di commedie partite con American Pie e sfociate con Hangover: Todd Phillips, qui in veste di produttore, non si dà limiti. Il film é eccessivo ed esagerato (vietato ai minori di 18 anni), e riesce a mostrare qualcosa a cui siamo sempre stati abituati, il classico party americano, senza nessun freno o censura.

It is also an irreverent film, which leads to excess games with that kind of comedy American Pie and culminated with Hangover: Todd Phillips, here as producer, with no limits. The film is excessive and exaggerated (PG-18), and can show us something that we have always been accustomed, the classic American party, with no brake or censorship.

Ho ricominciato a guardare questa serie per inerzia: in estate non ci sono molte novità, e volevo vedere se era davvero così superficiale come ricordavo. Ho una buona memoria. I personaggi sono insulsi, i colpi di scena prevedibili, la storia noiosa. Praticamente é un miscuglio tra un thriller e Gossip Girl, con protagoniste le ragazzine più truccate e noiose che io abbia mai visto.
Ovviamente continuerò a guardarlo (sonno permettendo): voglio sapere chi é A.
Lo so, sembra un controsenso, ma a volte non si può fare a meno del trash.

Drop Dead Diva é una serie molto carina e senza troppe pretese, sempre piacevole da guardare. Eravamo rimasti con i soliti casini sentimentali della protagonista, che non riesce mai a mettersi con il suo ex per un soffio (e succede la stessa cosa anche per i comprimari). Il primo episodio stravolge un attimino le carte in tavola, rendendo il tutto più interessante (però a me Fred piaceva...).

Drop Dead Diva is a series very pretty and unpretentious, always pleasant to watch. Questo episodio non mi ha convinta del tutto, troppi momenti mi sono sembrati superficiali: come mai Linden trova il badge, per prima cosa? Possibile che non siano riusciti a nascondere l'unica cosa importante? E perché lei lo mostra alla telecamera?
Per il resto, la storia di Stan e Mitch mi ha annoiato. E mi sembra strano che dopo 10 giorni che gli hanno sparato, Richmond sia già "in piedi" (scusate la battuta, é involontaria): ci si riprende così in fretta?
Non é che fosse un brutto episodio, solo che mi é sembrato un po' sconclusionato.

Il secondo episodio l'ho trovato noioso e prevedibile, non credo che continuerò a seguire Continuum. Inoltre, i "cattivi" mi sembrano davvero ridicoli...

Film tratto da un libro composto interamente da email, chat, ecc. Il punto di partenza, adattare un libro di questo tipo in un film, non era facile. E, secondo me, non é riuscito del tutto.
L'inizio de Il pescatore di sogni premetteva molto bene: humour inglese, personaggi abbastanza interessanti (soprattutto Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt é veramente troppo lineare), un'idea surreale che prende piega. Ma la pellicola peggiora ad ogni minuto, rendendo il tutto esageratamente sentimentale e prevedibile.
Punti positivi: Ewan McGregor, l'idea di fondo di inserire qualcosa di estraneo in un altro contesto con tutte le metafore che ne derivano, Kristin Scott Thomas (anche se a volte era un po' esagerata)
Punti negativi: lo sceicco filosofo (insopportabile), Emily Blunt (inutile e scontata), il fidanzato soldato (possibile che alla fine sembra che sia uscito da una sfilata di moda? Ridicolo)
È un peccato che non si sia riusciti a fare qualcosa di meglio, le premesse c'erano tutte.
Secondo me, potrebbe essere un film gradevole e senza pretese per una serata tranquilla davanti al televisore.

It is a shame that we have not managed to do something better, the premises were there.
In my opinion, could be a pleasant and unpretentious film for a quiet evening watching television.

Un finale di stagione (e per fortuna solo di stagione!) che mi é piaciuto moltissimo. Tutti i 40 minuti hanno funzionato alla perfezione. Devo dire che lo stesso commento lo potrei estendere a tutta questa terza stagione, che rispetto alla seconda (noiosetta), era veramente bella.

Episodio in cui si parla maggiormente del passato di Sarah e finalmente sembra che anche l'indagine si stia muovendo verso un finale plausibile. Sempre molto carino, anche se trovo che questa seconda noiosa a volte sia un po' stagnante.
Credo che la serie abbia risentito per non aver concluso il caso la scorsa stagione, alcune idee mi sono sembrate esagerate, e alcune storie della trama sono troppo drammatiche.

Con il decimo episodio, Valar Morghulis, é finita questa seconda stagione di Game of Thrones. Mi sembra sempre troppo breve!
Per quanto riguarda l'ultimo episodio, mi é piaciuta molto la scena tra  Littlefinger (il mio idolo) e Sansa e anche quella tra Varys e Tyrion. Ma tutto l'episodio era fantastico. Mi aspettavo un altro tipo di finale, ma non mi ha deluso per nulla. Avevo i brividi! Grazie anche ad una colonna sonora spettacolare. Povero Theon... il suo discorso era veramente carino... È un altro personaggio veramente ben fatto.
Devo dire, alcuni episodi non mi sono piaciuti particolarmente (solo un paio erano un po' noiosi), e avendo letto i libri alcuni cambiamenti non li capisco (la tipa di Robb su tutti), ma in generale é una serie di altissimo livello!
Punti positivi: il cast, la storia, la cura dei dettagli, la scenografia, la fotografia, la colonna sonora
Punti negativi: a volte si dilunga troppo, ma dipende sempre da quanto piace il personaggio di cui si sta parlando.
In generale, è una serie eccezionale.

With the tenth episode, Morghulis Valar, has finished the second season of Game of Thrones. It always seems too short! Regarding the last episode, I liked the scene between Littlefinger (my idol) and Sansa, and also that between Varys and Tyrion. But the whole episode was great. I expected a different kind of ending, but I was not disappointed at all. I had the chills! Thanks also to a dramatic and wonderful soundtrack. I must say, some episodes I have not particularly liked, and having read the books, some changes I do not understand (the girl from Robb on all), but in general is a high-level serie!
Positive points: the cast, the story, the attention to detail, the scenery, photography, soundtrack
Negative points: sometimes dwells too much, but it always depends on how much you like the character that they are talking about.

Chuck é una serie molto carina che unisce il genere nerd che va tanto di moda ultimamente, con i film di spionaggio. La serie é del genere comedy, anche se non mancano momenti più drammatici.
Scene che ho trovato geniali di queste due stagioni: Stan Lee é una spia (ma una spia di LA, vista con disprezzo dalla Beckman XDD), il momento in cui Casey spoilera Star Wars ad uno smemorato Morgan...e gli fa vedere La minaccia fantasma spacciandolo per il film migliore della saga.
Insomma, i momenti puramente nerd non mancano. E, nonostante la trama sia a volte un po' ripetitiva e alla ricerca del colpo di scena ad ogni costo, Chuck rimane una bella comedy con dei personaggi che mi sono piaciuti moltissimo e ho trovato ben caratterizzati.
La seria ha spesso rischiato la cancellazione durante gli anni, ma il finale non ne ha risentito: l'ho trovato veramente bello.
Punti positivi: i personaggi (tranne i Jeffster), i dialoghi e i momenti nerd
Punti negativi: a volte ripetitivo. Secondo me 40 minuti a volte sono troppi, anche episodi da 30 minuti sarebbero stati abbastanza.
In generale é una serie carina, che si guarda con piacere.

Scenes that I found brilliant in this these two seasons: Stan Lee is a spy (but a spy in LA, viewed with contempt by Beckman XDD), the time when Casey spoilers Star Wars to a forgetful Morgan ... and shows him the phantom Menace passing it as the best film of the saga. In short, there are moments purely nerd. And although the plot is sometimes a bit repetitive and search for the twist at all costs, Chuck is a great comedy with characters that I liked very much and I found well-characterized. The series has often risked cancellation during the year, but the ending was not affected: I found it really nice.

Negative points: sometimes repetitive. In my opinion 40 minutes is too much at times, episodes of 30 minutes would be enough.
In general it is a nice series

Nonostante il film di Tim Burton non mi abbia esaltato, ero comunque curiosa di scoprire qualcosa in più riguardo ai personaggi (della soap opera originale ho visto solo degli spezzoni), per questo motivo ho cominciato a leggere il libro.
Devo dire che la storia, vista dal punto di vista di Angelique, é abbastanza lineare. Non é un libro che ho trovato eccelso, ma é comunque ben caratterizzato, soprattutto per quello che riguarda i luoghi e il periodo in cui si svolge.
Punti positivi: é scritto bene, i luoghi e il periodo storico sono ben tratteggiati
Punti negativi: un po' troppo in stile "harmony" in alcuni punti, e abbastanza scontato
In generale é un libro che non mi é piaciuto molto, non lo consiglierei (a meno che non siate dei patiti della saga). Vorrei comunque leggere i successivi, per vedere se inserendo altri personaggi la trama diventa più interessante.

Despite the film by Tim Burton has not exalted me, I was still curious to find out more about the characters (I've only seen some clips of the original soap opera), which is why I started reading the book. I must say that the story, seen from the point of view of Angelique, is fairly straightforward. There is a book that I found most high, but is still well characterized, especially for what concerns the places and the period in which it takes place.
Good points: It is well written, the places and the historical period are well drawn
Negative points: a little too style "harmony" in some places, and rather obvious
In general it is a book that I don't liked a lot, I would not recommend it (unless you are fans of the saga). However, I would read the following to see if with other people entering the plot the story becomes more interesting.

Un film tratto (molto liberamente, secondo me) da una storia vera. Parla di un gruppo di killer che vengono obbligati da uno sceicco di vendicare la sua famiglia uccidendo dei membri della SAS inglese. Ecco, vi ho risparmiato due ore di noia terribile! Il film é lineare (era l'aggettivo che continuavo a ripetermi durante la proiezione): vi aspettate colpi di scena? Doppio gioco? No, non é il film per voi. Vi aspettate introspezione psicologica (in un film d'azione é spesso un qualcosa in più, ma perché limitarsi)? In una pellicola dove il cattivo diventa abbastanza buono guardando negli occhi di un bambino, e totalmente buono innamorandosi della biondina di turno (la Sara della serie tv Chuck), lo spessore dei personaggi é ridicolo.
Punti positivi: mah...alcune scene d'azione non sono male
Punti negativi: la sceneggiatura, la storia sentimentale/inutile e senza senso, Robert DeNiro super buono (nonostante sia comunque un killer, ha famiglia e si comporta sempre correttamente: Robert, comincia a scegliere meglio i film in cui recitare!), Jason Statham assolutamente non sfruttato in maniera decente, la noia e prevedibilità della storia. E i baffi di Clive Owen!
In generale é un film che sconsiglio, anche per una serata divertente con amici: non ci sono neppure battute che fanno ridere. È noia allo stato puro.

A film based (very loosely in my opinion) on a true story, that tells of a group of killers that are required by a sheikh to avenge the killing of her family members by British SAS. See, I have saved you two hours of terrible bore! The film is linear (it was the word that I kept telling myself during the screening): do you expect surprises? Double play? No, it's not the movie for you. Do you expect psychological introspection (in an action film is often a bit more, but why not)? In a film where the bad becomes good enough looking in the eyes of a child, and totally good when falling in love with the blonde in turn (Sara of the TV series Chuck ), the thickness of the characters is ridiculous.
Good Points: well ... some action scenes are not bad
Negative points: the script, the romance / useless and meaningless, Robert DeNiro super good (although it is still a killer, has a family and always behaves correctly: Robert begins to choose better the movies where you act!), Jason Statham absolutely no advantage in a decent way, boredom and predictability of the story. And Clive Owen's mustache!
In general it is a film that discourage, even for a fun evening with friends, there are not even jokes that are funny. It is pure boredom.
